Ruth Ann Morris Gill, age 78, of Fordyce, AR died Saturday, April 9, 2022 at her home. She was born November 6, 1943 in Fordyce to the late Al and Brucelle Morris.
Ruth was a 1961 graduate of Fordyce High School. She was a homemaker, wife, and stay-at-home mom until 1984 when she began her career with the State of Arkansas as a clerk in the Fordyce Revenue Office, until her retirement in 2001. She was a lifelong member of the First Baptist Church of Fordyce.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, David Morris of Hot Springs.
Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Ralph Gill of Fordyce; one son, Shannon Gill of El Dorado; two grandsons, Chase Gill of Summerfield, LA and Braden Gill of Bryant; and one great-granddaughter, Nola Kate Gill.
An open casket visitation will be held Friday, April 15, 2022 at 1:00PM at Macedonia Methodist Church near Princeton followed by a memorial service at 1:30PM.
