SPRINGDALE — Oliver E. Kruger, 86, of Springdale passed away Jan. 23, 2019, in Springdale. He was born Dec. 19, 1932, in Cherokee, Kan., the son of Herman Kruger Jr. and Lola Marie Redington Kruger.

He graduated with a double major from the University of Arkansas. He served in the Army during the Korean War in Yokohama, Japan. He was a Sears catalog manager for three states and regional sales manager for the Western United States and traveled 23 states.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Reba Whitley Kruger of the home; his son, Craig Kruger of Hindsville; his daughter, Paula Jones of Fayetteville; two foster children, Jim Bresee of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Wanda Miller of Lanagan, Mo.; his brother, Kenneth Kruger of North Las Vegas, Nev.; his granddaughter, Darci Barlow and husband J.C. of Springdale.

Visitation will be Saturday, 4 to 5 p.m. with services at 5 in the chapel of Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. Fourth, Rogers. Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Purse, c/o funeral home. Online condolences to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.

SPRINGDALE — Reba Louise Kruger, 87, of Springdale, passed away Sept. 28, 2020, in Springdale. She was born Jan. 23, 1933, in Rogers, the daughter of the late Ed and Ines Whitley.

She graduated from high school in Independence, Kan. Reba was married to the late Oliver Kruger for 64 years. She worked multiple jobs including Munsingwear, Daisy Air Rifle, Home Interiors and Walmart Home Office.

She was preceded in death by brothers Lee Whitley and Bob Whitley and brothers-in-law Carroll Fielding and Frank Waldrup.

She is survived by son Craig Kruger of Hindsville; daughter Paula Jones of Fayetteville; foster children Jim Bresee of Oklahoma City and Wanda Miller of Lanagan, Mo.; granddaughter Darci Barlow and husband J.C. of Cleveland, Tenn.; sisters Erma Fielding of Springdale, Janie Waldren of St. Louis, Mo., and Sharon Williams of Rogers, Ark.; and sister-in-law Joyce Whitley.

Visitation services will be 5- 6:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, 2020, at Benton County Funeral Home, 306 N. 4th St., Rogers, Ark. A private interment will be at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Garfield. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Samaritan's Purse, c/o the funeral home. Online condolences can be made to www.bentoncountyfuneralhome.com.
