David McKay Greer, 85, of War Eagle, died Thursday, Jan. 27, 1994, Bates Memorial Hospital in Bentonville. Born Nov. 2, 1908, in New Zealand, the son of Dane Manson and Mary McKay Greer, he was an engineering consultant and author of two books — Drilled Pier Foundations and The Arkansas Traveler. During World War II, he planned and inspected runways for U.S. bomber planes.
Survivors are his wife, Louise Saunders Greer of Bella Vista; a son, Dane Greer of War Eagle; a daughter, Gall Greer of Waltham, Mass.; and a grandson.
Memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Feb. 17 a the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in Fayetteville. Arrangements are by Rollins Funeral Home of Rogers.

FAYETTEVILLE — Louise Saunders Greer, 91, of Fayetteville died May 9, 2005, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 20, 1913, in Kentucky.
Survivors include one son, Dane Greer of Rogers; one daughter, Gail McKay Greer of Boston; one grandson, David W Greer.
No services are planned. Cremation arrangements are by Beard's Funeral Chapel, Fayetteville.
