February 6, 1918 - June 25, 1992
Alva Lee Morrison, 74, of Van Buren, died Thursday, June 25, 1992, at a local hospital.
He was retired building contractor and a member of First Assembly of God Church in Van Buren. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Survivors are his wife; a son; two sisters; two brothers; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June, 27, 1992, at First Assembly of God Church in Van Buren with burial at Gracelawn Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Youth Department at First Assembly of God Church.
Arrangements were by Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, Arkansas.
Mildred
August 9, 1926 - November 14, 2014
Mildred Elaine Morrison, 88, of Van Buren, passed away Friday, November 14, 2014.
She was born August 9, 1926 in Van Buren to the late Samuel and Lena Isam.
She was a homemaker, and a member of the First Assembly of God in Van Buren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alva Lee Morrison.
She is survived by a son, Sammy Morrison of Porum, OK; two sisters, Velma Moon and Dean Coleman, both of Van Buren; three grandchildren, Shohn Doty of Springdale, and Yvonne Fisher and Brock Morrison, both of Porum, OK; and two great-grandchildren, Bethany Doty of Springdale, and Ryan Fisher of Porum, OK.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home Chapel with private interment to follow, under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren, AR.
Pallbearers will be Shohn Doty, Brock Morrison, Ryan Fisher, Darren Huckey, Rodney Huckey, and Derek Davis.
