Bobby G. Freeman, 81, of Alma passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014, in Fort Smith.
He was born May 20, 1932, in Spavinaw, Okla., to the late Wilburn and Lorene Freeman.
He was a retired mail handler with the U.S. Postal Service and a retired staff sergeant with the Army.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Trula Freeman, and a son, Clayton Freeman.
He is survived by a daughter, Lynda Freeman of Alma; six sons, Robert Freeman of Tulsa, Steven Freeman of Alma, Steven G. Freeman of Kansas City, Mo., Bill Freeman of Oklahoma and Don and Butch Wilson, both of California; a sister, Bonnie Parks of Ohio; a brother, Harry Parks of Ohio; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home of Van Buren.
Pallbearers will be Kenny Larue, Bill Freeman, Coy England, Don Wilson, Steven G. Freeman and Matt Hardie.

Trula Marie Freeman, 75, of Alma, Arkansas died, Sunday, August 8, 2010 in a local hospital.
She was born September 11, 1934 in Coyle, Oklahoma.
She was a homemaker and she loved camping and quilting. She was preceded in death by a son, Clay Freeman.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bobby G. Freeman, of the home; one daughter, Lynda Freeman of the home; 6 sons, Robert Freeman and his wife, Dawna of Oklahoma, Steve Freeman of Alma, AR, Donald Wilson of California, Harold Lavern Wilson of California, Willard "Bill" Freeman of McAlester, OK, and Steven Gene Freeman of Illinois; two brothers, Harold "Butch" Long of Cedarville, AR and Duane Long of Stillwell, OK; 23 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren.
Graveside service was 10:00 A.M. Friday, August 13, 2010 at Gracelawn Cemetery in Van Buren under the direction of Edwards Van-Alma Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Robert Freeman, Steve Freeman, Don Wilson, Bill Freeman, Kenny LaRue, and Koy England
