Forest Ray Wells, 93, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, passed away Friday, April 17, 2020.
He was born August 21, 1926 in Union, Mississippi to the late Sanford & Mattie (Hester) Wells. Forest was a veteran & a retired meat cutter with Hot Springs Packing Company. He was a member of the Downtown Lion’s Club and St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, where he volunteered with preparing spaghetti dinners for the church bazaar.
Forest was preceded in death by his wife Helen Rose Wells.
Survivors include his children, Rosemarie Wells Kennedy (Tom) and John Joseph Wells, Sr. (Marianne); grandchildren Thomas Kennedy, Jr., Nicholas Kennedy (Tara), John Joseph Wells, Jr. (Bailee) and Anna Brinker (Bobby); great-grandchildren Forrest Kennedy, Everlee Rose Wells, Wells Brinker and Fisher Rae Brinker; sister Betty Butts and numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to concerns of the Coronavirus, the family will have a private service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 589 W Grand Ave, Hot Springs, AR 71901.
