WEST FORK — Curt Leroy Howell, 94, of West Fork passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2020, in Fayetteville. He was born Feb. 26, 1926, in Benton County, Ark.

He was preceded in death by one grandchild.

Curt had been employed as a rigger for Richfield Oil. He enjoyed watching bull riding and working with his livestock.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie Reed Howell of the home; son Stephen Howell and wife Peggy of Magnolia, Ark.; daughter Linda Janelle Hardy and husband Robert of Victorville, Calif.; five grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Interment will be private and funeral services will be announced at a later date. Condolences at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.

Mrs. Glenda Howell, 50, Mt. Vernon, Wash., formerly of Springdale, died Jan. 20 in Mt. Vernon Hospital. Born Feb. 12, 1927, in Cave Springs, she was the daughter of Glenn L. and Mina Frazee John. She was a member of the Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Cart Howell of the home; one son, Stephen Howell of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Linda) Hardy of Mt. Vernon; two brothers, Forrest John of Providence, Utah, and Jay John of Oklahoma City, Okla.; three sisters, Mrs. Lewis (Oletha) Bell of Rogers, Mrs. Thurman (Etta) Smith of Springdale and Mrs. Cecil (Esther) Sarratt of Gentry; four grandchildren.

The body will be returned to Springdale for services and burial under direction of Sisco Chapel.
