James “Bill” Leon Gardner, 82, of Bentonville, died February 5, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Rogers.
He was born October 16, 1936 in Garfield, Arkansas to James Hugh Gardner and Ollie White Gardner. He moved to Bentonville from Pea Ridge in 2007 to make his home. He loved music and was a DJ for KFAY in Fayetteville. He also worked for Kurm Radio in the early nineties and Glad Manufacturing in Rogers. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother David Gardner.
Survivors are a daughter, Peggy Meyer and husband Michael of Reno, Nevada; two sisters, Connie Dingman and husband Larry of Pea Ridge, Shirley Lane of Pea Ridge; two grandchildren, Eric Meyer of Reno, Nevada and Allison Meyer of Seattle, Washington.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Sisco Funeral Home in Pea Ridge.
