Hester Southerland Hassan was born May 1853 in New York and died 13 May 1925 in Van Buren, Crawford County, Arkansas.
She married Henry Starmer in 1876 and from this union was born: Maurice Story, Warford Thomas, William Benjamin (Will), Henry Earl, Alfred Edward (Alfie), Ralph Eland and two infants that died at birth.
She and her family lived in Webster, Nebraska and moved to Van Buren, Arkansas in the 1900's where she lived until her death in 1925.
