Elmer L. "Jimmy" Myers, 88, of Van Buren, Arkansas died Friday, February 4, 1994, in a local hospital. He was a retired conductor for the Missouri-Pacific Railroad, a 32nd Degree Mason and a member of First Presbyterian Church of Van Buren, Amrita Grotto, Order of Eastern Star, Elks Club and American Association of Retired Persons.
Survivors include two daughters; one son; one sister; one brother; one niece; one great-niece and two great-nephews.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Ocker Memorial Chapel. Burial was at Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers were the Masons.

Bonnie Gayle Myers, 708 of 905 Lincoln, Van Buren, died March, 1983. She was a life long resident of Van Buren.
She was survived by her husband, E.L. Myers; two daughters, Joanna Myers of Muldrow, Oklahoma and Jeannine Newton of Shamrock, Texas; and one son, Jimmy Myers of Fort Smith.
She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Van Buren, the Amirita Grotto Cauldron and the Railroad Trainman's Auxiliary. She was past president of the Missouri-Pacific Women's Club.
