Mildred Louise Mullings Rucker, age 87, passed from this life November 16, 2015. She was born November 29, 1927 to the late Dolphas C. and Viola E. Burgess. She was predeceased by her parents, husbands, Willard Mullings and Joel Rucker; four brothers, Roy, Russell, Max and Virgil Burgess; one sister, Irene Cozart; and grandson, Keith Mullings. She is survived by her son, Richard Mullings (Beverly) of Hot Springs; daughters, Sharon Sword (Sherman) of Hot Springs and Brenda Parker of Noblesville, Indiana; grandsons, Brett Parker of Hot Springs, Derek Parker of Covington, Kentucky, and Travis Mullings of Hot Springs; granddaughter, Kara Parks of Little Rock; great-grandchildren, Haleigh Trotter, Nicole Mullings, Hunter Mullings and Morgan Sheets; great great-granddaughters, Chloe Trotter, Madelin and Ember Mullings. Mildred worked many years as a waitress, then several years at Lake Catherine Footwear. In her later years she was employed by Consumers Pharmacy. Her favorite hobbies were sewing and arts and crafts. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00 P.M. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held 10: 00 A.M. Friday, November 20, 2015 at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Pastor Andrew Gonzalez officiating. The family wishes to express their sincere gratitude and appreciation to the staffs of Montgomery County Nursing Home and Arkansas Hospice at CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs. They are truly angels on earth.
