On August 3, 1955, in Rison, Arkansas, the loving union of Harvey and Essie Mae Benton was blessed with a beautiful daughter, named Bobbie Jean Benton Warner. On Friday, March 13, 2020, God said, “Well done my good and faithful servant”, it is time to come home.

Bobbie Warner accepted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior at an early age and was baptized at Macedonia Baptist Church in Rison, AR. She was a 1973 graduate of Rison High School.

On December 25, 1977, John L. Warner, the love of her life. They were blessed with four beautiful and loving children. Bobbie was a long time member of Greenville First Baptist Church where she attended faithfully until her health started to fail. She served as Sunday School Teacher, President of the Sanctuary Choir for 16 years, and secretary of the Missionary Society. Bobbie ask served on the Pastor’s Aide and the Kitchen Committee. She loved her church and her church family.

Bobbie was a homemaker and loved caring for her family. She enjoyed making sure her home was a welcome place for all who visited. She often hosted family gatherings at her home. Bobbie loved to have fun and had an infectious laugh. To know her was to love

She was preceded in death by her father Harvey Benton, her sister, Joyce Mister, and two daughters LaShunda Lanier and Amanda Warner.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories: her beloved husband of 42 years, John Warner; one son, Michael (Nancy) Warner, one daughter, Lakeitha (Warsaw) Warner. Five sisters: Shirley (Silas) Warner, Juanita (Calvin) Warner, Francine Benton, Yvonne (Kim) Buford, and Lydia Benton, one brother, Harvey (Donna) Benton. Six grandchildren, Simona Marks, SaShaunna Warner, Sharnae Lanier, Ariah Warner, Makia Warner, and Makenli Warner. Three great grandchildren, Sha’Mariye Caldwell, Shance Warner, and Sha’Mon Clinton. Two godsons, Ketric and De’Arius Sledge. A special Uncle, Andrew Roshell, Sr. and two special sons, Robert White and Jeremy Gilliam. She also leaves to cherish her memory a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Bobbie loved to have fun and had an infectious laugh. To know her was to love her.

Funeral Service will be 2:30pm on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Greenville Baptist Church 404 South Main Street Fordyce, Arkansas 71742 with Rev. Silas Warner officiating. Interment will be in Greenville Cemetery by Paradise Funeral Home.
