Carolyn Lois Cleaver Gray, 73 of Fordyce died Wednesday May 26, 2021 at her home. Born March 26, 1948 at Erie, PA, she was the daughter of the late James R. Cleaver and Lois Swanson Cleaver.
She was a homemaker and a US Navy Veteran. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeffery Cleaver and Kenneth Cleaver.
She is survived by her husband, Gordon M. “Mickey” Gray of Fordyce; two sons, Michael James Gray of Fordyce, David Gray of Rison; a brother, Robert Cleaver of Erie, PA; mother-in-law Dahlia Belgard of Fordyce; four grandchildren, James Layne Gray, Jack Parris, Jett Gray, Charlotte Gray.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Bethesda Baptist Church at Chambersville. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery. Arrangements are by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
