Audrey Louise Waters
September 12, 1929 - February 8, 2022
Audrey Louise Waters died Tuesday February 8, 2022 at Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Walnut Ridge.
She was born September 12, 1929 to Luan Coursey & Nellie Larson Coursey. Audrey was the matriarch of a large family. She was a homemaker her entire life. Her smile and sense of humor was only exceeded by her love for her family. She was of Pentecostal belief.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Luan and Nellie; husband, Johnny D. Waters; daughter, Sharon Waters Land; sisters, Helen, Ellen, Eva, Linda, & Pearly Fay; brothers, Robert, Leonard, Donald, & Edward; and 3 infant sons.
She is survived by daughters, Phyllis (Garland) Burgess, Debra (Rocky Deceased) Sheets, Bonnie (Buddy) Allen, Barbara (Jim) Cantrell; sons, Johnny (Velta) Waters, & Leon (Wanda) Waters; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; and many other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00AM-1:00PM Friday February 11, 2022 at People’s Faith Tabernacle in Hoxie.
Funeral services begin at 1:00PM immediately following visitation with Jamey Sullens officiating.
Burial will be in Lawrence Memorial Park Cemetery under direction of House-Gregg Funeral Home in Walnut Ridge.
