April 15, 1894 - October 22, 1977
Mrs. Argenthy Langford, 83, of 857 Brooks Ave., Camden, died Saturday in the Ouachita local nursing home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the Greater St. Paul Baptist Church of Camden with the Rev. I. R. Dunn, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Locust Bayou with Williams services in charge. She is survived by four sons, Johnny Langford, Fred Langford, Kenny Langford and George Langford, all of Cleveland, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Corrine Phillips, Mrs. Eula Mae Broadnax and Mrs. Josephine Smith, all of Camden, and Mrs. Lola Me Wright of Wichita, Kan; one brother, Daniel Smith of Kilgore, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Julia Brown of Camden and Mrs. Virginia Boyd of Hampton; 25 grandchildren and 51 great-grandchildren.
