*When Jasper L. "Jack" Martin was born on March 23, 1910, in Mississippi, his father, Robert, was 27 and his mother, Vianna, was 23. He married Josephine "Josie" Beals on April 20, 1935. He died on June 20, 1974, in White, Arkansas, at the age of 64, and was buried in West Point, Arkansas.
