Willene Rogers 86 of Paris, Arkansas formerly a resident of Fort Smith for 23 years passed away April 27, 2011 in Paris.
Willene was born October 27, 1924 in Driggs, Arkansas to Lambert and Beulah Appleton.
Willene along with Elmer were the owners and operators of Rogers Salvage in Paris.
She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Paris and was associated with the Girl Scouts in Paris for many years.
Willene is preceded in death by her parents; Lambert and Beulah Appleton; her daughter Kay Yvonne Parker, three sisters; Catherine Rogers, Mary Jean Brown and Patsy Gilbert. Four brothers; Harold Appleton, Jim Appleton, Leon Appleton and Wayne Appleton.
Willene is survived by her husband of 66 years, Elmer Rogers of Paris, a daughter; Paula McCaulley and husband Fred of Subiaco Arkansas, a sister; Dorothy Horne of Paris, Arkansas and a Brother; J.V. "Pete" Appleton of Paris, Arkansas, four grandchildren; Dean Parker and Wife Danys of Fayetteville, Stacy Marry and husband Peter of Michigan, Jennifer Owen and husband Dave of Subiaco and Lee McCaulley and wife Heather of Ozark, Arkansas, seven great-grandchildren; Haley Owen, Riley Owen, Brady Owen, Abbey Parker, Caden McCaulley, Addison McCaulley and Zoey Marry and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2011 at Roller Funeral Home Chapel in Paris, Arkansas
Service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 2011 at First Assembly of God Church in Paris, Arkansas with Rev. Kenny Maness and Bro Don Hutchins officiating.
Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Paris, under the direction of Roller Funeral Home-Paris.
Pallbearers will be; Kenneth Redding, Don Redding, Frankie Rogers, Jimmy Rogers, Ronnie Rogers and Van Rogers.
