Winslow — Lloyd Everette Reed, 82, of Winslow, died Friday at a Prairie Grove nursing home. Born Jan. 14, 1903, at Winslow, the son of Charles W. and Lydia A. Cloninger Reed, he was a retired carpenter and a lifelong resident of the area. He was a member of the Winslow First Baptist Church and a member of the Modern Woodmen of America for 62 years.
Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Viola Craytor Reed of the home; a son, Richard Reed of Tulsa; two daughters, Mrs. Christine Reed Caudle of Brentwood and Mrs. Beverly Reed Claghorn of Tulsa; four brothers, Earl, Harold and Harry Reed, all of Winslow, and Charles Reed of Bandon, Ore.; 15 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Winslow First Baptist Church with burial in the Brentwood Cemetery under the direction of Moore's Chapel.
