Ina Marie Drennan, age 91, of Benton, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2012. She was born November 16, 1920 in West Bolton, Kansas. Mrs. Drennan was a retired school cafeteria manager. She was a member of the Northside Church of Christ and the Sharon Extension Homemakers Club. Mrs. Drennan was preceded in death by her parents, John Ben and Eva May Hughes; husband, Hollis Drennan; sister, Edith Lee and three brothers, James, Fred and Robert (Bob) Hughes.
She is survived by five children, Billy Gene Drennan (Hazel) of Benton, Shirley Drennan Goodwin and Ginger Nguyen (Thauh) both of San Juan Capistrano, California, Marilyn Byrd of Sherwood and Carolyn Dacus of Mountain Home; brother, Harold Hughes (Veleria) of Winfield, Alabama; nine grandchildren, Kathy Golf, Debbie Gibson (Mark), Kevin Drennan, Tana Everhart (Nate), Ginna Nguyen, Billy Joe Byrd (Dawn), Ann Marie McConnaughey (Donnie), Ben Dacus (Jaime) and Callie Dacus; ten great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and four step great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15 at Ashby Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 16 at Ashby Funeral Home with burial at Pine Crest Memorial Park. Jim Gardner will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Northside Church of Christ Camp’s Kitchen.
