ROGERS — Betty Lou Oxford, 75, of Rogers passed away on June 30, 2019, in Bentonville. She was born on Oct. 31, 1943, in Washburn, Mo., to the late Raymond Nello and Georgia Belle (Green) Rose.
She was the loving wife of Charles Oxford for the past 53 years.
She worked at Emerson Electric Company for 24 years. She enjoyed cooking, flea-marketing, reading and playing board game and cards with her grandchildren. She loved those grandbabies and wouldn't miss any of their sporting events including football and baseball or their other activities. She will be greatly missed.
She was a member and attended Colbaugh Freewill Baptist church in Hindsville.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brother Donnie Rose and sister Lois Black.
She is survived by her husband, Charles of Rogers; son Jason and his wife Rebecca of Rogers; daughter Lynn and her husband Brian of Fayetteville; sisters Gladys Wilbanks, Treva Antle, Brenda Antle, all of Missouri; and grandchildren Levi Oxford, Samantha and Courtney Farnsworth, Connor, Mason, Jacob and Caitlyn Shaw.
A visitation will be Wednesday, July 3, 2019, from noon-1 p.m., with a funeral to follow at 1 p.m. in Rollins Funeral Home chapel. Burial will be immediately after in Rambo Cemetery, Rogers. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society; www.cancer.org.
