Springdale - S. Lewis Hicks, 36, Rogers building contractor and former Springdale resident, died Tuesday in Rogers Memorial Hospital. He was born Oct. 25, 1527, at Revenden. He was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Genevee Mason Hicks of the home; a son, James Lewis of the home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert R. Hicks of Mammoth Springs and two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Richert of Clinton, Mo., and Mrs. Enla Semrau of Mammoth Springs.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Callison-Sisco Chapel. Burial win be in Stuckey Cemetery.

ROGERS — Genevee Hicks, 94, of Rogers passed away Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at Bradford House Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born June 18, 1923, in Springdale to Earl and Edith Maxey Mason.

Genevee was a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved dogs.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Hicks and one sister, Freda Mason. Survivors include one son, James Lewis Hicks of Fayetteville; one brother, Derrell Mason and wife Janette of Lowell, one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Saturday, May 5, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Stuckey Cemetery in Johnson. Visitation will be Saturday from 9 to 10 am. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale. Online condolences may be left at www.siscofuneral.com.
