Betty Jo Curtis was born on April 30, 1933 in Red River Parrish, Louisiana to Wesley Odessa and Violet Nadine (Hodges) Mosley.
She passed away on April 11, 2021 in Clarksville, Arkansas at the age of 87. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church in Clarksville, Arkansas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell A. Curtis; her sons, Richard Wayne Stewart; Darvin Randolph Curtis; Joseph Raymond Curtis; her sisters, Barbara Ann Mosley Allen; Mae Evelyn Mosley Oliver.

She is survived by her son, Robert Allen Curtis of Knoxville, Arkansas; her daughter, Kathey Joann Day of Clarksville, Arkansas; her sisters, Patsy Ruth Mosley Taylor of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Billie June Mosley Booker of Charleston, Arkansas; her 9 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at the Hardwicke Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services are 10 a.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at Second Baptist Church in Clarksville, Arkansas with Reverend Tom Dicus officiating. Burial will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Kelly Casey, Billy Casey, Eddie Shirley, Darrel Turner, Matthew Shomber, and Zack Oliver. Honorary Pallbearers are Lura Curran, Wanda Emogene White, Nan Holland, Mary Turner, Mary Copeland, Teresa Crowder, and Arlene Casey.
