Bobby Gene Blackard, 88, of Fort Smith, Arkansas passed away August 14, 2018.
He was born December 22, 1929 in Clarksville, Arkansas to the late Ethel and Lois (Palmer) Blackard.
He was a retired truck driver, a member of Grand Avenue Baptist Church, a loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, he was a fun loving man, and he loved baseball, was an avid golfer, was a wonderful caregiver and was a friend to everyone.
He was preceded in death by his wife Billie, one grandson Donald Holzman, and one sister Delores Wagoner.
He is survived by one son Steve Blackard and wife Mary of Fort Smith, two daughters; Connie Littlefield of Barling and Shawn Sanford and husband Jimmy of Russellville, one sister Shirley Crowley of Tulsa, seven grandchildren; Jason, Tyler and Emily Blackard, Amy and husband Justin Brewer, Jeff and Dorie Littlefield, and Hayden and Nancy Holzman, and four great-grandchildren; Parker, Jones, Kasen and Drake.
Graveside Service officiated by Rev. Burnett King will be 11:00 am Saturday at Oakland Cemetery in Clarksville, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Tyler Blackard, Jason Blackard, Jeff Littlefield, Justin Brewer, Hayden Holzman, and Jimmy Sanford.
