Grover C. Brisco, 87, of Tahlequah, Okla. died in a Tahlequah hospital Nov. 17. He was born Nov. 4, 1884 in Winslow, the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Brisco.

He is survived by the widow, Martha, of the home; four sons, William of Springfield, Mo., Walter of Vallejo, Calif., Melvin of Broken Arrow, Okla., and Edward of Tulsa, Okla.; one daughter, Mrs. Bessie Conley also of Vallejo; 16 grandchildren; three brothers, Dick of Portland, Ore., Jim of El Monte, Calif., Bus of Los Angeles, Calif., and three sisters.

Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday in the Chapel of Nelson's Funeral Home with burial in Farmington Cemetery.

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Brisco, 60, resident of Blackwell. Okla., died at the Riverside Hospital, in Blackwell, Tuesday, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Brisco was born in Merdin, Kansas, in July, 1890. She had made her home in Blackwell for the past three years, moving there from Farmington. She was a member of the Christian Church.

She is survived by her husband G. C. Brisco of Blackwell; her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Conley; one adopted daughter, Mrs. Oleta Lyman, Wichita, Kan.; five sons, William of Springfield, Mo., Ray of Blackwell, Elmer of Nardin, Okla., Melvin of Tulsa, and Allen of the U. S. Army; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in Farmington by the Rev. Jesse Coleman. Arrangements are in charge of Nelson Funeral Home.
