Marjorie Warr Knoth passed away May 2, 2019. She was born August 21, 1924, at Jonesboro, Arkansas, to Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hockle, the eldest of four daughters. Marjorie attended Holy Angels Academy and Arkansas State University.

In her lifetime, she was a Girl Scout Leader, President of St. John’s Home and School Association, President of the Progressive Club of Hot Springs, President of the Morning Circle of St. John’s for three years, and President of the Council of Catholic Women of Hot
Springs in 1975 and Co-President in 2002. She served as a volunteer at St. Joseph’s Mercy Medical Center for more than fifteen years.

Marjorie was married to Vernon Bailes Warr for 31 years, with whom she had five children, Michael Vernon Warr, Stephen Douglas Warr, Patti Jo Baber, Margaret Anne Widner, and Gregory Bailes Warr.

After Mr. Warr’s death, she married and lived with Richard Albert Knoth of Dayton, Ohio, for twenty years.

Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Vernon Warr, Richard Knoth; daughter, Patti Jo Baber; and sister, Henrietta Hockle.

Besides Marjorie’s grown children, she leaves behind sisters, Dorothy Koubek of North Platte, Nebraska, Patricia Wamble of Columbus, Mississippi; grandchildren, Derek Warr, Chris Warr, Tricia Widner, Amy Widner, Michael Widner, Christina Widner, Meg Baber, Zachary
Baber; stepchildren, Richard Knoth, Jr., Cindy Walls, and Greg Knoth; and several great-grandchildren.

Service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019, at St. John’s Catholic Church with rosary beginning at 11:00 a.m.
