When Leslie Malcom Ezell was born on April 12, 1904, in Morrilton, Arkansas, his father, William, was 18 and his mother, Mae, was 14. He married Sara Ada Watters-Ezell and they had one daughter together. He then married Lois Inez Blount in 1930. He died on October 30, 1981, in McRae, Arkansas, at the age of 77, and was buried in White, Arkansas.
