Mary Adele Lawson, 85, of Benton, died Wednesday. She was born October 5, 1924 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late John and Martha Ledbetter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Earlis Lawson, sons, Kenneth and Ryan Bailey, daughter, Teresa Bailey, five brothers and one sister.
Survivors, step sons, George Lawson and wife, Aleta of Benton, Alex Lawson and wife, Becky of Mississippi, step daughters, Sandy Joblin of Mississippi, Susie Lawson of Mississippi, twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Chapel services by Ashby Funeral Home will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday with Bro. Alex Lawson officiating. Burial will be Monday at 1:00 p.m. at the National Veterans Cemetery in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
