Percie B. McWhorter, 72, of Hot Springs died Thursday in a Hot Springs hospital. Funeral services were to be held today at 11:30 a.m. at Gross Mortuary Chapel in Hot Springs, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Hot Springs. Mr. McWhorter was born in Lockesburg and was a resident of Hot Springs for 21 years. He was retired from International Paper Company and had also worked for the U. S. Forest Service. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Josie H. McWhorter of Hot Springs; three sons, Byron, Edward and Kenneth McWhorter of California; two daughters, Mrs. Irene Anderson of California and Mrs. Adell Cockman of Memphis, Tenn; two brothers, Floyd McWhorter of Bearden and Dea McWhorter of Texarkana; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
