Bernard Durci, 81, of Mountain Home, Ark., passed away Monday, Feb. 16, 2015, in Mountain Home. He was born June 13, 1933, in Tarentum, to John Michael Durci and Mary Direr Durci. Bernie was an Air Force veteran and while stationed in Highlands, N.C., he met the love of his life, Berta Lee Talley. They were married Oct. 26, 1957, in Highlands and enjoyed 57 years of friendship, marriage and raising a family together. He is survived by his wife; three sons; and five grandchildren, who will always remember him as Choo Choo Pap. His wife, Lee Durci, lives in Mountain Home. His son, Dan Durci and wife, Sue, live in St Louis, Mo.; and have three sons, Jacob, Joel and Jared. His son, Mike Durci and wife, Denise, live in Shreveport, La.; and have two daughters, Lela and Maggie. His son, Robert Durci and wife, Wendy, live in Austin, Texas. He was preceded in death by his brother, John Paul Durci; and his parents. Bernie and Lee retired to the Mountain Home area from Austin after his electrical engineering career having worked for Westinghouse, Texas Instruments and Motorola. He loved his time here and especially his family at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and his brothers at the Knights of Columbus. Visitation was held Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2015, at ROLLER FUNERAL HOME, where a vigil service was held at 7 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, 2015, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church, with the Rev. Norbert Rappold and the Rev. Chris Okeke, celebrants. Interment will be private. The family asks that in lieu of flowers or gifts, donations be made to Hospice of the Ozarks in Mountain Home at www.hospiceoftheozarks.org.

Berta Lee Durci, age 81, passed away on Friday September 28, 2018 in Mountain Home. She was born on October 26, 1936 to Marcus and Charlotte Talley (Keener) in Highlands, North Carolina.
Lee worked for many years as an x-ray technician for Shady Side Hospital and Austin Clinic. She loved Mountain Home and was a devoted member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church for many years. She especially enjoyed watching birds and always had feeders out for them. Of all of her hobbies she really enjoyed tending to her flowers.
Lee is survived by her three sons: Daniel Durci (Sue) of Richmond, Texas, Michael Durci (Denise) of Shreveport, Louisiana, Robert Durci (Wendy) of Johnson City, Texas; five grandchildren: Jacob Durci, Joel Durci, Jared Durci, Lela Durci, Maggie Durci; four siblings: Charles, Clifford, Eva, and Bea. She is preceded in death by her husband Bernard Durci; her parents; four siblings: Gordon, Lewis, Sarah, Martha.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Roller Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday, October 3, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Norbert Rappold as celebrant. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church or Hospice of the Ozarks. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller Funeral Home
