Katie Mae Manley of Camden, AR passed away Wednesday, May 9, 2018. She was born August 28, 1938, in Stephens, Arkansas, to the late Lawrence Manley and Beulah Hicks. Katie gave her life to Christ at an early age at St. James A.M.E Church in Camden, Arkansas.
Katie was preceded in death by her son, Charles Jones, Jr.; aunt, Addie Willis; sisters, Louise Young, Ruth Towns, and Syble Pace; and brother, Horace Jones. Katie leaves behind a granddaughter, Chandria Willis (Jonah) of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandsons, Chauncey Jones (Leslie) and Christopher Jones (Caisha) of Dallas, Texas; sisters, Jerri Quarles of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Ester Mae Manley of Cleveland, Ohio; special friend, Lettie Stephens of Camden, Arkansas; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Katie was a feisty, spirit-filled woman who will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Funeral services will be 11:00AM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Proctor Funeral Home with burial in Eternal Rest Cemetery. Reverend Brady Renix will officiate the service. Visitation will be from 10:00AM to 11:00AM before the service.
