MORROW COMMUNITY — Clophas Virginia Smith, 80, of the Morrow Community died May 26, 2006, at her home. She was born Feb. 28, 1926, in Fayetteville, to Richard P. and Nancy M. Cornett Ralston. She attended the Lincoln Free Will Baptist Church. She served many years at the Kings Ranch in Morrow. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, embroidering, gardening and taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Smith; one son, Michael Smith.

Survivors include two sons, Richard Smith and Patrick Smith, both of Morrow; two daughters, Nancy Venable of Clyde and Nita McGuire of Morrow; 11 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.

Services are at 10 a.m. Monday at the Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, with David Johnson and Tobey Huckabee officiating. Burial will follow at the White Rock Cemetery near Dutch Mills.

Pallbearers are his grandchildren, Cody Smith, Clint Smith, Scott Pace, Bradly Pace, Joel Pace, Mike Workman, Adam Workman, Lewis Workman and Scott Darnell, Honorary pallbearers are Alicen McIntyre and Kelsey Smith.

Visitation is from 1 to 6 p.m. today at the chapel.
