Monticello, Arkansas
Deborah Dean Funderburg, 48, of Monticello, died Tuesday at Baptist Medical Center at Little Rock.
She was born Dec. 23, 1955, at Dermott, a daughter of the late Clarence Richard Bates and Vester Irene Simmons Bates.She was a waitress and hostess. She was a member of Oak Grove Assembly of God Church at Monticello.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Bates. Survivors include one daughter, Shaina Funderburg of Monticello; three brothers, Richard Bates, Keith Bates and Roy Bates, all of Monticello; and three sisters, Lois Lytle and Pat Thomas Quickel, both of Pine Bluff, and Carolyn Avery of Monticello.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Home at Monticello with the Revs. Terry Newman and Bob Spencer officiating. Burial will be in Center Point Cemetery in Drew County.
