Mrs. Mabell Priest Barker, 25, who lived near Deering, died Tuesday morning at 4 o'clock at a Blytheville hospital after being ill for two weeks.
Mrs. Barker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R.N. Priest of Blytheville, was born and reared in that city. She, with her husband, Garner Barker, and two children, Sara Lou and Robert Wayne, moved to a farm near Deering a year ago.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon from the Second Baptist Church of Blytheville with the Rev. R.P. Jernigan officiating. Interment was in Elmwood cemetery, according to a news item in the Courier News.
Aside from her parents, husband, children, Mrs. Barker also is survived by five brothers, Paul Priest of Tallulah, La., Cecil, August and Bob Priest of Greenville, Miss., and Ray Priest of West Helena, Ark.
