Judy Ann Richardson Ramsey, 70-years-old, moved from her earthly home to her heavenly home on 17 October 2016 at her home in Round Mountain, Arkansas. Her unwavering faith in God, strong passion for life, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters carried her through months of cancer treatments for pancreatic and oral cancer. She was born on June 15, 1946 to Fay and Shirley Richardson.
Judy was the heart of her family and she is survived by, the love of her life and husband of 51 years 11 mos, 17 days, JL Ramsey and son Shane Ramsey and family; Mother, Shirley Richardson, 3 sisters: Doris Hamilton of Mountain View, AR, Donna Moore of Belton, MO, and Janet Fisk of Onia, AR, 2 brothers: Roger Richardson of Bryant, AR and Gary Richardson of Onia, AR and many, many more family (nieces, nephews, etc.,) and friends too numerous to list.
She was preceded in death by her father Fay Richardson and grandson Aaden McCurley. Judy was an immense woman of faith and tirelessly set a Christian example through her actions and deeds and leaves a great legacy for her family. Judy will be deeply missed by all of her loving family and friends.
The family is deeply grateful for the outpouring of love, prayers and support that we received from too many people to name individually, but including: Hospice and Home Health Care, Family Doctor and others, family, friends, and neighbors. God Bless all of you that helped make this difficult journey more bearable, the Ramsey family.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Roller Coffman Chapel in Mountain View, Arkansas from 6:00-8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016, 2:00PM at Round Mountain Community Church in Round Community near Big Flat, Arkansas with Brother Gary Anderson and Brother Greg Downs officiating. Interment will be at Big Flat Cemetery in Big Flat Arkansas following the service.
Pallbearers are Lee Fisk, Weston Mize, Jeremy Baker, Lance Anderson, Tony Chadwick, and Bennie Watts.
Roller Coffman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
