Beulah Hardesty Thompson, 90, of Brentwood, Tennessee and formerly of Blytheville, passed away at Brighton Gardens in Brentwood, Tennessee.
Beulah was born in Blytheville to Cairl and Mattie Walker Nunnery. After 44 years of teaching, Beulah retired from South Pemiscot County School District. She attended First Baptist Church in Steele from 2005 until 2012. Beulah was a former member of the Blytheville Women’s Club and the Steele Book Club.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Pete Hardesty; and her second husband, Lemond Thompson.
Beulah leaves her children, Pete Wells Hardesty of Brentwood, Tennessee and Brenda Wren-Wilson of Blytheville; two grandchildren, Gary Wren, Jr. and Austin Hardesty; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 20th at 11:00 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Clark and Mrs. Tommie Lou Brooks officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
