January 30, 1933 - February 5, 2016
Glendene Norman, age 83 of El Dorado, passed away on Friday morning, February 5th, 2016. She grew up in Whelen Springs, AR and attended school in Gurdon, AR. She is survived by son, Terry Norman, daughter-in-law Angie Norman, grandson Landin Norman and granddaughter, Malyn Norman, all of El Dorado, AR, Also son, Gary Norman, daughter-in-law, Nacine Norman, of Big Canoe, GA; a granddaughter, Ashley Morrison, grandson-in-law, Andrew Morrison, and great granddaughter Jennilee Rose Morrison of Peachtree City, GA; and grandson, Benjamin Norman, and granddaughter in-in-law, Lauren Norman, of Oklahoma City, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Hayes and Mabel Hayes, sister, Helen Spriggs of Texarkana and brother, Paul Hayes of Ashville North Carolina. She loved animals and had a long list of pet cats and dogs over the years. The family asked in lieu of flowers that donations can be made to Union County Animal Protection Society, P.O. Box 204, 1000 Sunset Road, El Dorado, AR 71730. There will have a family graveside service on Monday February 8th. Arrangements will be provided by Young’s Funeral Directors, El Dorado, AR.
