William L. "Billy" Ray, 81, of West Memphis, Ark., formerly of Cooter, died January 19, 1989 at the VA Hospital in Memphis. He was a Veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell. Services were held Sunday, January 22, 1989 at the Cobb Funeral Home in Blytheville with Rev. Paul Kirkindall officiating. Burial was at Elmwood Cemetery.
