July 4, 1924 - June 9, 2015
Alice Lena Oneta Nunley Hendrix of Lamar, Arkansas, was born July 4, 1924, in Marlow, Oklahoma, and passed away June 9, 2016, in Russellville, Arkansas at the age of 91. She was a member of Clarksville Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Thomas and Mary Annie Patton Nunley; a daughter, Judy Carol Marconette; two brothers, Clifford Nunley and Thomas Kennith Nunley; and five sisters: Willie Nellie Brown, Mary Lou Robinson, Hester Leona Nunley, Baby Girl, and Geneva Nadine Rogers.
She is survived by her husband, Albert Lee Hendrix of Lamar; two sons: Randall Lee Hendrix and wife, Carolyn, of Phoenix, Arizona, and Richard Lane Hendrix of Lamar; a daughter, Jennifer Charlotte Risinger and husband, Rob, of Clarksville, Arkansas; a brother, Earnest Leo “Fat” Nunley of Michigan; eleven grandchildren, twenty four great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 2-4 p.m., Sunday, June 12, 2016, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.
A Graveside Service will be held 5:00 p.m., Monday, June 13, 2016, at Hagarville Cemetery in Hagarville, Arkansas, with Jake Chism officiating.
Pallbearers will be Sammy Granville “Bo” Middleton II, Jeffrey Todd Middleton, Robert Preston Risinger, Anthony Lane Hendrix, Isaac Randall Middleton, Justin Dakota Middleton, and Kelly Christensen-Clark. Honorary Pallbearers will be the grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
