When Clarence Earnest Wiggins was born on August 12, 1873, in Indiana, his father, James, was 31 and his mother, Susan, was 30. He married Mary Ethel Annable on June 29, 1895, in Posey, California. They had five children in 16 years. He died on May 3, 1949, at the age of 75.
