Charles H Sanders son of Roland Noah Sanders and Cloria Fay "Cloe" (Griggs) Sanders. Alberta (Haney) Sanders daughter of Robert D Haney and Elizabeth (Helms) Haney. Charles was born in Dolph, Izard County, Arkansas and died in Pineville, Izard County, Arkansas.

Charles H. Sanders, 76

Charles H. Sanders, son of the late Roland Noah and Cloria Fay Griggs Sanders, was born June 23, 1933 in Dolph, Arkansas. He departed this life on March 24, 2010 at his home at the age of 76 years nine months and one day. During his working years he was employed by Sentinel Industries. He was united in marriage to Alberta Haney on August 22, 1957 in Norfork, Arkansas. He was of the Baptist faith.

Charles is survived by his wife Alberta Sanders of the home; three sons, Ronald Sanders of Dolph, Michael Sanders of Flippin, Charles A. Sanders of Dolph; one daughter and son-in-law; Annette and Julio Solar of Miami, Florida; one brother, Odis Sanders of Independence, Missouri; six grandchildren: Tom Walker III, Brian Walker, Justin Walker, Chris Sanders, Tyler Sanders, Shelby Sanders; three great-grandchildren,; Landon Walker, Lillie Walker, Ella Walker and a host of other relatives and many good friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, James Olin Sanders.

Funeral service was Saturday, March 27 at 2:00 p.m. at the Dolph Baptist Church with Raymon Carneal and Randy Moser officiating.

Burial followed at the Dolph Baptist Cemetery under the direction of Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock, Arkansas.

Visitation was March 26 from 6-8 p.m.

Alberta Haney Sanders, daughter of the late Robert Haney and Elizabeth Helms Haney, was born November 19, 1936. She departed this life February 23, 2018 in Calico Rock, Arkansas at the age of 81 years, 3 months and 4 days.

She was united in marriage to Charles H. Sanders August 23, 1957 in Norfork, Arkansas and together they raised four children. Alberta spent her life as a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, homemaker and friend. During her working years, she worked at the Glove Factory and was a CNA at White River Healthcare. She was of the Baptist faith and a member of Dolph Baptist Church.

She is survived by three children: Annette Solar and husband Julio of Pembroke Pines, Florida, Ronald Sanders and Charles Sanders both of Dolph; one brother Orville Haney of Olathe, Kansas; one sister: Sue Friend of Springdale; six grandchildren: Tommie Walker, Justin Walker, Brian Walker, Tyler Sanders, Shelby Sanders and Christopher Sanders; five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and many good friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son: Michael Sanders; two brothers: Robert "Pete" Haney, Henry Ray Haney and one sister: Linda Haney.

Visitation will be Monday, February 26 from 6-8 p.m. at Eddie’s Family Funeral Home in Calico Rock. Funeral service will be Tuesday, February 27 at 2:00 p.m. at Dolph Baptist Church with Ray Carneal officiating. Burial will be at Dolph Baptist Cemetery.
