Ruth Payne, 86, of Blytheville, Arkansas, passed from this life on Saturday November 1, 2014, in Blytheville.
She was born to Paul A. and Ida (Cossey) Trammell Oil Trough, Arkansas and was a lifelong resident of Blytheville.
Ruth was a retired bookkeeper for Carlock Pontiac and she liked to deer hunt, fish and was an avid canner especially of fruits and vegetables. She was a retired bookkeeper for Carlock Pontiac.
Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Wayne K. Payne; 2 brothers Ray Trammell and Ralph Trammell and one sister Ruby Herrin.
She is survived by her four sons; Larry Payne and Jackie of Marian, AR; Mike Payne and Sheila of Wynne, AR; Kenny Payne and Mary of Bono, AR; and Billy Payne and Darla of Burdette, AR.
Graveside funeral services were at Elmwood Cemetery. Service arrangements were by Cobb Funeral Home.

Wayne Kenneth Payne died at the age of 67 years in Meridian, Mississippi. He was born in Hermondale, Pemiscott County: He served in World War II with the U. S. Army in France and Germany. receiving two purple hearts. He married Ruth Juanita Trammell and lived in Bltheville, Arkansas until his retirement, moving to Meridan, Mississippi. He was a son of William Henry and Louella Mae "Tate" Payne.
