R.H. "Red" Jackson, 30, timber man of the Etowah community died of a result of a logging incident Aug 27, 1903.
He was born Jul 15, 1872 to Mr and Mrs John Calvin
and Mary Jane Hardy Jackson in Wayne County, TN.
Besides his parents, he leaves his wife, Lister Kirby Jackson and son Bennie Sylvanous Jackson of the Etowah community, brothers: Andrew Stonewall Jackson, George Cleveland Jackson and Alex Coleman Jackson, all of the Etowah community, sisters: Florence Scudamore, Etowah and Alice Sarah Kinchen of MO.
He was buried in Garden Point Cemetery
