Andrew Stonewall Jackson, 59, prominent farmer of Etowah, died December 2, 1937 in Jonesboro following a brief illness.
Services were held Sunday at Garden Point Church with interment there in the cemetery. Rev J. I. Owens pastor of the Baptist Church in Lepanto conducted the services.
Survivors include one son, Grover Jackson, two brothers, AC Jackson and G.C. Jackson both of Etowah, AR, two sisters: Mrs Florence Scudamore of Safety Arbor, FL, and Mrs. Alice Kinchen of Hollywood, MO, and Bennie Jackson, a nephew whom he helped rear.
His parents were J.C. and Mary Jane Hardy Jackson.
Active pallbearers were: ES Wildy , WA Methany, Lacey Pylist, Wade Stennett, HJ Meadows Jr, all of Etowah and Don Haley of Blytheville. LNR
