Robert White was a retired carpenter and member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters Local 5 of St. Louis, MO. He worked for many years for McBride and Sons Construction, St. Louis.

He was a life long member of Church of Christ and received a Purple Heart for service performed for the U.S. Army in the North African Theatre during World War II.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers, Delmar, Velmar and Willard and sisters Thelma Trotter, Genevive Barker, and Katy Herren.

Mrs. Eumila "Molly" (Blanton) White, 88, of Lebanon, IL., passed away Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Lebanon Care Center, Lebanon, IL. Mrs. White was born Corning, AR. She was a retired homemaker, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Veteran of Foreign Wars and life long member of the Church of Christ.

She was married to her husband of 63 years, Robert E. White, he preceded in her death on January 1, 2006.

She is survived by one son Robert E. White, Jr. and wife Leslie of O’Fallon, IL.; three daughters Joyce and husband John Buckley of Umpire, AR., Connie and husband Timothy McLaughlin of Rosebud, MO., and Kathy and husband Rick Souders of Harwood, MO.; six granddaughters Jennifer and Erin White of Fairview Heights, IL., Sherry and husband Brian Dotson of Katy, TX., Tammie Thompson of Umpire, AR., Lisa Souders and Dana Kaufman of St. Louis, MO.; four grandsons Timothy McLaughlin and wife Annie of St. Louis, MO.,
Christopher McLaughlin and wife Suzanne of Fort Drum, NY., Kevin Souders of Dallas, TX., Brian Souders of Harwood, MO.; nine great-grandchildren Tara, Tracy and Taylor Dotson of Katy, TX., Mark and Micah Thompson of Umpire, AR., Taylor and Samantha Kaufman of St. Louis, MO., Kayla Souders of Dallas, TX., Dylan (White) Walker of Fairview Heights, IL., and Anna Lamb of Athens, AL. Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband Robert E. White; father Sherman W. Blanton; mother Eardie (Eagle) Blanton; brothers Robert, Eabert, Obert Blanton and sisters Elba Hudspeth and Clara Jessie Blanton.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, April 10, 2011 at 2:00 PM in the Ermert Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow the service in the Corning Cemetery. Public visitation will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
