Ethel Lee Keener Wade, 92, of Texarkana, Ark., died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at home.
Mrs. Wade was born May 9, 1922, in Ogden, Ark.
She was employed with Lone Star Ammunition Plant; was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Stateline Chapter, American Legion 452, Mandeville Community Cemetery Association, Mandeville Community Center and Ozan District and Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church where she was former president of Deaconess Women's Mission Society, pastor aid, Sunday school secretary and a member of the trustee board, Bible training and program committee.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ladell Wade Sr.
Survivors include five sons, Barney Wade and Michael Wade of Texarkana, Harold Wade of Dallas, Ladell Wade Jr. of Ontario, Calif., and Anthony Wade of Albany, Ga.; five daughters, Joyce McGary, Debra Wade and Gwendolyn Wade of Texarkana, Carolyn Taylor of Dallas and Kathryn Tyson of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Henry Keener of Texarkana; two sisters, Callie Donelson of Texarkana and Para Lee Smith of Stockton, Calif.; 22 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m., Thursday at Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church with the Rev. T.L. Blevins Sr. officiating.
Burial will be in East Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., today at the church.
