Joyce Lee Pace, age 91, of Texarkana, Texas died Monday, June 22, 2020. She was loved by family and all who met her.
Mrs. Pace was born August 7, 1928 in Forest, Louisiana. She worked at Day and Zimmerman for 13 years and was a member of First Methodist Church, Texarkana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie “L.C.” Pace; son, Steve Pace; brother, Bob Yates; and sister, Delores Thompson.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Pace Carter of McKinney, Texas; son and daughter-in-law, Paul Pace and Cathy Pace of Texarkana, Texas; daughter, Paula Pace Cornelius and son-in-law Joe Cornelius of Wake Village, Texas. Her grandchildren; Trey Pace Woods, Dr. Phillip Pace, Lance Carter, Matthew Pace, Justin Hamilton, Summer Lindsay, David Pace, and Liz Hamilton; Her step-grandchildren, Bryan Cochran, Hannah White, Misty Honea, and Matthew Cornelius; and 10 great-grandchildren.
A special thank you to Encompass Hospice, Texarkana Hospice, and loving caretaker Lisa.
Graveside services will be held 11:30am, Friday, June 26, 2020 at Memorial Gardens, Texarkana, Arkansas with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating.
