Clyde Franklin Barker, 80, of Springdale, died Sunday, Oct. 1, 1995, at his home.

Born Oct. 30, 1914, at Dinsmore, the son of Marion Francis and Ota Newberry Barker, he was a stockman and farmer who bought cattle in Washington, Madison and Newton counties for many years. He was also a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Kingston.

Survivors are his wife, Frankie DuVall Barker of the family home; a daughter, Betty Marchant of Elm Springs; two sisters, Mayme Armes of Springdale and Evelyn Smith of Kingston; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral is at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sisco Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Cecil Garrison officiating. Burial is in Bluff Cemetery.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. today, with the family receiving friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

SPRINGDALE — Frankie Marie Barker, 97, of Springdale passed away Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at her home. She was born Dec. 28, 1920, in Kingston, Ark., to Emmett and Sinda Burk DuVall.

Frankie graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1963 with a bachelor's degree. She taught first and second grade for 37 years, then later retired from Walmart as a door-greeter. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking for her family and helping Poppy with their cattle.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 55 years, Clyde F. Barker; one daughter, Lou Feagin, one grandson, Jackie Feagin; two sisters, Hazel DuVall and Dorothy Grigg.

Survivors include one daughter, Bettie Marchant and husband Darel of Springdale; three sisters, Pearl Phillips, Minnie Hutchison and Alice Leinberger all of Idaho; eight grandchildren, Jerry Feagin, Cindi Feagin, Bo Parmain, Bobbie Blackbird, Heather Sizemore, Ed, Rick, and Dan Marchant; eight great-grandchildren, Stephanie Maupin, Jessica Boring, Tommy Parmain, Kolby Sizemore, Cameron and Derek Doshier and Huk and Stevie Blackbird; two great great grandchildren, Jack and Laynie Maupin; and her sweet dog Roxy.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2018, at 2 p.m. at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Joe Lester officiating. Burial will follow in Bluff Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
