Benjamin Garfield Taylor, 86, of Springdale died Thursday, June 15, 1995, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale.
Born March 4, 1909, at Lead Hill, the son of James Ervin Taylor and Pheabe Dosheybell Suggs Taylor, he was a farmer. He moved to the area in 1951 from California and was married to Lillie J. Taylor.
Survivors are two sons, Donald J. Taylor of Wichita, Kan. and Dave A. Taylor of Springdale; one daughter, Dorothy Couey of Green Forest; one brother, Boyd Taylor of Exoter, Mo.; two sisters, Vinnie Jones of Berryville and Viola George of Santa Anna, Calif.; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Backstrom—Pyeatte Funeral Chapel in Springdale, with the Rev. Norman Cline officiating. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Lillie J. Taylor, 80, of Springdale died Monday, Dec. 5, 1994. Born May 5, 1914, at Green Forest, she was a daughter of James and Annie Taylor.
Survivors are two sons, Donald J. Taylor of Wichita, Kan., and David Arnold Taylor of Springdale; two daughters, Dorothy Couey of Green Forest and Cathy Ogden of Springdale; two brothers Wilford Taylor of Green Forest and Winford T. Taylor of Burk Burnett, Texas; a sister, Zettie Howerton of Green Forest; 17 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Nelson's Funeral Home with the Rev. Norman Cline officiating.
