Bobby Joe Pitts, Sr son of R.H. Pitts and Nell Pitts. Sylvia (Phenix) Pitts daughter of Robert Phenix and Gratie (Wetzel) Phenix. They are the parents of Terri, Carolyn and Bobby Pitts, Jr, Robin Sue Pitts.

Monette- Sylvia Pitts, 82, passed away Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Monette Manor.

She was born April 2, 1938 in Wirth, Missouri to the late Robert and Gratie Wetzel Phenix. She loved farming, spending time with her family and coaching girls and boys softball.

She was survived by her children, Terri Cobb (Steve), Carolyn Harrell (Robert) and Bobby Pitts (Beth); six grandchildren, Jarrett Cobb, Aaron Cobb, Leslie Lyerly, Brian Harrell, Tyler Pitts and Courtney Garrett; two sisters, Ethyl Copus and Goldie Mitts and eleven great-grandchildren and many other family members.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Pitts Sr. and a daughter, Robin Pitts.

A graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Macey Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Reed officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of Gregg Funeral Home.

Lasting memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
