Emily Elnora Voorhies, 88, of Siloam Springs, AR passed away March 16, 2014, at her home. She was born June 7, 1925 in Wilburton, Oklahoma to the late Riley and Dora Sephus. Elnora was a nurse's aide and homemaker. She was a member of the Crossroads Revival Center in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She was preceded by one daughter, Mary Utz.
Survivors include three sons; Rhodus Voorhies of Siloam Springs, AR, Phillip Voorhies of Fredonia, KS, and Jacky Voorhies of Fresno, CA, three daughters; Pam Huffman, Betty Huffman both of Siloam Springs, AR, and Dora Hudson of Scotts Valley, CA. several grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 6-8 pm at the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home in Siloam Springs, AR. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Crossroads Revival Center in Siloam Springs, AR with Rev. J.D. Beckett officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the Backstrom-Pyeatte Funeral Home of Siloam Springs, AR.
